Martine Rothblatt founder of Sirius XM digital radio (now worth $20 billion) was born a male in a Jewish family, he later transformed himself into a woman after under going reassignment surgery at the age of 40.
Martine married Bina Aspen an African American woman from Compton California 30 years ago after meeting her in a LA night club. They had four children together (before Martine transitioned into a woman) Rothblatt used technology and artificial intelligence to create Bina48, a robot created in the image of her wife Bina.
Rothblatt is friends Ray Kurzweil, the futrist and director of engineering at Google, Kurzweil is also the author of “The Age of Spiritual Machines” he thinks Bina48 is a glimpse of the future.
Martine and her wife Bina were invited to the White House State Dinner in Washington March 11, 2016.
Rothblatt is also the, chairman and co-CEO of Silver Spring-based business United Therapeutics Corp after earning $38 million last year although she is a transgender she is considered America’s highest paid Female executive.
